The D.C.
Brotherhood
A monthly circle of young professional Black men building fellowship, trust, mentorship, and memory across the city.
Built around a table.
The Brotherhood began with a text, a dinner, and six men willing to make space for one another. It grew into a recurring community for Black men navigating law, public service, business, family, friendship, and life in D.C.
Founded by Armani Madison in April 2024, the D.C. Brotherhood responds to a familiar kind of isolation: being successful in rooms where very few people understand the pressure, the visibility, and the need for a trusted place to be unguarded.
The group is relationship-first. Brothers gather for dinners, brunches, boxing, golf, football, service, wine tastings, rooftop conversations, and low-pressure nights where advice, laughter, and honesty can all share the same table.

The rhythm is simple: gather, talk, build, repeat.

In collaboration
With the D.C. Sisterhood.
The D.C. Sisterhood is a community of Black women in the city doing what we do: building real friendships, showing up for each other, and making space for the conversations that only happen in the right room.
We cheer for them and they cheer for us. Every so often we come together for a dinner, a tasting, a rooftop, a holiday party. Two circles that support one another, plain and simple.

From first dinner to living network.
What started as one dinner became an informal infrastructure of friendship, advice, visibility, and support.
